Adaware, which is a product of cybersecurity company Lavasoft, (formerly known as Ad-Aware), is designed to protect users from privacy-related threats and rogue applications of which the majority of users are unaware. This includes programs that path your browsing habits, courses that hijack the web page that opens your browser and apps that display annoying ads at the most unsettling times. This free application also comes with a host of extra features to increase security and ensure that your device is running smoothly.
